Natural Attractions   Atyniadau Naturiol
Ynys Môn is renowned for its wildlife and landscapes. Yet a great many of these sites have remained unknown both to visitors and to residents.

Our Natural Attractions leaflet describes some of the best of these, how to get to them, and what facilities you will find there. Inevitably we have not been able to include all of the Island's sites of natural interest. However we have tried to give a representative selection which includes inland as well as coastal sites.

Menter Môn's task is to promote the rural economy of Ynys Môn. Our hope is that this leaflet will attract visitors and encourage them to seek out its less well frequented parts. We also very much hope that residents will be encouraged to venture out and find new places for recreation.

It is important to promote visits to these sites. It is essential to conserving our wildlife and landscapes that they receive active public appreciation. Every visit is one more reason for taking seriously the conservation of our natural heritage.

Many of the sites are managed by local or national conservation organisations and by volunteers. Some include sections of the Coastal Footpath and pass through private land. Visitors are requested to take care to leave all sites just as they found them.

Mae’n bwysig hybu ymweliad i’r safleoedd yma – drwy ymwybyddiaeth y cyhoedd y cânt eu cadw i’r dyfodol. Ym nhob ymweliad ceir rheswm arall i ddiogelu dyfodol ein etifeddiaeth naturiol.

Rheolir llawer o’r safleoedd gan gyrff cadwriaethol cenedlaethol a gan wirfoddolwyr. Mae rhai yn cynnwys rhannau o’r Llwybr Arfordirol ac yn pasio drwy dir preifat. Gofynnir i bob ymwelydd gymryd gofal i adael pob safle fel y’i canfyddwyd.
