Hemp and Flax Project   Prosiect Cywarch a Llin
This is a shared project between Menter Môn and CYMAD which is designed to provide a clear baseline of information on the potential for hemp and flax fibre in the UK together with detailed analysis of the commercial viability of establishing a decortification plant in North Wales.

The objective was to generate a comprehensive report of current processing technology for hemp and flax, and to analyse the market demand and prospects for fibre products. From this information a business plan was drawn up as a key document to apply for EAGGF assistance to establish a North Wales processing facility.
