Anglesey Beef
is a promotional campaign to raise the profile of the island as an important producer of Premium Quality Beef. By working with everyone involved in the food chain - from the farmer throught to the retail butcher or hostelry where you buy your meal, we have made sure that you can be confident that the beef you buy is totally traceable back to the Anglesey farm where it was reared.
Anglesey has the reputation of being an area for producing traditionally grass-finished beef to high standards. This farming method produces beef of excellent eating quality which has been appreciated by discerning consumers from near and far. Now you will have the opportunity to try it for yourself, with confidence - whether buying through your local butcher to cook and eat at home, or when buying a meal in a restaurant or pub. All you need to do is look for the promotional material in the shop (window stickers and posters) or restaurant (cards), reminding you that they serve Anglesey Beef . Wherever you buy or eat Anglesey Beef you will be able to ask to see the certificate which shows that you are getting the real thing!
