Wildlife watchdogs in Anglesey are mounting a major initiative to try and save the Red Squirrel, once common on the island, from extinction.
Its future on the island could depend on the work of a band of organisations which make up The Anglesey Red Squirrel Project. Committee chaired by Lady Anglesey.
Members include The Countryside Council for Wales, North Wales Wildlife Trust, Bangor University, The National Trust, Esme Kirby Snowdonia Trust, Welsh Mountain Zoo, Farmers union of Wales, National farmers union and Menter Môn, Forestry Commission.
Is finding its own way back to Anglesey rivers with the help of a band of organisations including Menter Môn The Countryside Council of Wales, Ynys Môn County Council.
