I'm originally from Natal. South Africa. In 1989 we emigrated to England, where I studied a foundation and BA Honours at St Martin's College of Art and Design London. After meeting Marc Heaton and finishing my degree, I moved with him to Ynys Môn to set up the Cramsdam Art Gallery in the High Street, Menai Bridge.

My work takes its construction from old photographs. I'm particularly interested in drawing attention to the surface textures of the original medium. I use traditional subjects and traditional arts mediums, mostly oils. I also produce watercolour and pencil works.
