Originally from Nelson in South Wales, Marc moved to Ynys Môn with his partner, Madeleine O'Brien , to be closer to the heart of Welsh, his first language. Prior to that, he had completed a BA Honours course at St Martin's College of Art and Design London.

Marc's work depicts the interiors of Victorian period houses. He is particularly interested in the importance of light in such settings.

Marc and Madeleine's work is shown at their gallery, The Cramsdam Gallery, in the High Street, Menai Bridge.
