-WELFARE RIGHTS -

The J.E. O'Toole Centre has beenproviding a free and fully confidential Welfare Rights Servicefor the last 15 years. In that time the centre has reclaimedalmost £2.5 million in lost or unclaimed benefits.

The Centre deals in all SocialSecurity benefits such as:

Incapacity Benefit. Family Credit.Jobseekers Allowance. Income Support. Disability LivingAllowance.

The J.E. O'Toole Centre is alwaysat the forefront of the latest changes to the benefits system andwill advise clients as to what benefits they should be claiming.As well as benefit advice, the centre also has a TribunalSpecialist who will represent clients at tribunals dealing withSocial Security benefits and employment disputes. The Centre alsoprovides a home visit and telephone service to the elderly anddisabled.

We have recently established anoutreach post in Amlwch. This will serve those of the Amlwchcommunity who do not have a telephone or personal transport. Ouroutreach post is open every Wednesday from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00p.m. at the Leisure Centre. We hope to expand our service furtherto reach other rural areas.

The J.E. O'Toole Centre alsoprovides an Industrial Injuries Clinic. The Centre uses theservices of specialists who provide regular screening sessions.They can advise and screen clients for possible compensationand/or additional benefits.
