Founded in 1895 as a private course by the Williams-Bulkeley family of Baron Hill, only friends and guests were allowed to play until 1950 onwards when it became a members club. The original clubhouse was destroyed by fire on New Years Eve 1990 and the replacement was opened in 1997. This is a nine hole course and has been described as a challenging moorland course with panoramic views of the Great Orme, Menai straits and Snowdonia. Most interesting are the 5 th and 6 th holes described as 'the best par three on Anglesey' and 'a formidable dogleg', respectively. There are no bunkers on this course but ample gorse and streams to make a visit worthwhile
