Mae’r llofftydd yn fawr a chysurus gyda basn ymolchi, teledu lliw a chyfleusterau gwneud paned ym mhob un. Gerddi hyfryd a golygfeydd agored o Eryri. Yn yr ardal mae clogwyni Ynys Lawd lle cewch wylio adar, cwrs golff Caergybi, chwaraeon dwr a llwybrau arfordirol. Hanner milltir i ffwrddd mae pentref y Fali lle mae dwy dafarn, siopau a marchnad bob wythnos. 4 milltir i Gaergybi a’r fferi i Iwerddon.

Ty Mawr is a large farmhouse built from welsh granite between 1840 and 1923. Views are uninterrupted across farmland towards the Snowdonia mountain range and there is lovely garden with lawns and fishpond and a south facing aspect.

The house has spacious rooms with antique furniture and is tastefully decorated. A large twin bedded room with colour TV, wash-hand basin, welcome tray and two armchairs, and also a a single room with colour TV, welcome tray and armchair are available for guests.

The farm is a working dairy farm of 300 acres within one mile of Valley village, where there many good shops, two pubs and a weekly market.

Treaddur Bay and Rhoscolyn are five minutes journey by car, where there are good sandy beaches and all types of water sports can be enjoyed. Skin diving, sail boarding and horse riding lessons are all available from local schools.

Holyhead is four miles away, where there is a golf course and a Leisure Centre with a swimming pool and various indoor sporting activities. There are regular daily ferry sailing's to Ireland from the port of Holyhead.

Excellent bird watching facilities are available at Ellen's Tower, where closed circuit television shows birds nesting on the cliffs overlooking the lighthouse at South Stack , which is also open to the public.

Other places to visit include 'Plas Newydd.' the home of the Marquis of Anglesey, the Sea Zoo at Brynsiencyn, Pili Palas Butterfly Farm at Menai Bridge and the ancient town of Beaumaris with its 13 th Century Castle.

A warm welcome is extended to all our visitors, whether staying just one night en-route to or from Ireland, or if you are staying for a week or two's holiday as a bed and breakfast or self catering guest.

Directions : After crossing the Menai Straits, follow the A5 as if going all the way to Holyhead. After passing through the village of Caergeiliog, you will see a Toll House on your left hand side. Take the farm drive that is next on the left and this will bring you to Ty Mawr Farm.
