It boasts a large sandy beach on one side and a shell-strewn beach with intriguing sheltered coves, shrimping pools and pre - Cambrian rocks to scramble over on the other. Perfect for watersports, fishing and sailing.
Nearby, a launch jetty for boats, private adventure playground for the children and the heated indoor swimming pool which are available to Penrhyns Bed and Breakfast guests.
Spectacular South Stack lighthouse, working Llynnon Windmill, ancient standing stones, picturesque villages, country pubs, restaurants (the famous Lobster Pot ), golf clubs are all close at hand. Location: On the tip of Anglesey, overlooking Holyhead Bay, Penrhyn in conveniently located for day tripping to Ireland. The ferry is only 20 minutes away by car and Snowdonia only an hour. Directions : Once on Anglesey, follow the A5 towards Holyhead. Then turn right at Valley traffic lights towards Amlwch on the A5025. After the village of Llanfachraeth turn left and follow the signs for Penrhyn (2 miles). When you reach the coast, the house is in the farm yard. |
