Parc-yr-Odyn is a modern farmhouse on a 150 acre working farm set in the heart of Anglesey's patchwork quilt of green countryside. It commands panoramic views of the Snowdonia Mountain Range and is an ideal base for exploring the island and touring the North Wales mainland and convenient for the ferry crossing to Ireland. Its owners, Hefin and Helen Thomas, have created a traditional Anglesey farmhouse ambience together with all modern comforts. Every effort has been made to ensure the comfort of guests, while maintaining the traditional feel of a Welsh farmhouse. The warmth of the welcome is guaranteed regardless of the weather.
The Isle of Anglesey is a haven which has everything for the visitor. An unspoilt 124 mile coastline which carries the status of Area of Outstanding Natural beauty ; an interior of green countryside criss-crossed by a maze of small roads; sporting activities of all kinds - golf , cycling , water sports, fishing , horse riding, mountaineering, hill walking and a welcoming warmth. The farmhouse is situated close to the islands east coast at Pentraeth. Nearby is the beautiful Red Wharf Bay with its sweeping coastline and sands. It lies only five miles from the Britannia Bridge and is within five miles of Llangefni, the islands main market town. Directions : From the Britannia Bridge take the A5025 towards Amlwch. When you reach Pentraeth take the first left turn in the centre of the village after the pedestrian traffic light crossing to Talwrn and Llangefni - the B5109. Follow the road for one mile and Parc yr Odyn is signposted as a left turn off the road. The farm drive leads to the house which is on the left. |
