Anglesey has anumber of small egg producers, producing both free-range and farmfresh eggs. Their lack of size prevented them spendingsignificant amounts on marketing and promotion, and as a resultthe produce had no identity in the local marketplace

Menter Môndeveloped a box design for both types of eggs, which gave a clearidentity for the product on the shop shelves. By having everyproducer using the same boxes it created a much larger presencethan any individual producer could achieve. Now, the egg boxes are widely seen atoutlets across the Island and beyond in butchers anddelicatessens and have attracted positive comments from retailersand consumers alike that are now able to easily identify andsupport local produce.

The next stage ofsupport for the Anglesey Egg Group is in the form of Pointof-Sale Material - A Colourful A2 Poster, Window Sticker andInteresting Mobile have all been produced to raise awarenessamongst local people and visitors to the Island of theavailability of 'Fresh Island Eggs' direct from the farm.

Mae yna nifer o cynhyrchwyr wyau ar Ynys Môn,yn cynhyrchu wyau maes a wyau ffres o’r fferm. Oherwydd eumaint, maent wedi cael ei rhwystro rhag gwario cyfanswm mawr oarian ar farchnata ac hyrwyddo, ag oherwydd hyn nid oes gan ycynnyrch yma adnabyddiaeth yn y farchnadfa leol.

Datblygodd Menter Môn ddyluniad bocs ar gyfery ddau fath o wyau, ac mae’r bocs yma yn rhoi adnabyddiaethi’r cynnyrch ar silffoedd y siopau. Gyda pob cynhyrchwr yndefnyddio’r un bocs roedd yn creu llawer mwy o presenoldebna fysai unrhyw gynhyrchwr unigol yn gallu ei wneud. Nawr,mae’r bocsus i'w gweld mewn amrywiaeth o siopau ar draws yrynys ac ymhellach, o siopau cigydd i siopau bwyd, ac maent wedi tynnu sylw da gan werthwyr a cwsmeriaid. Mae’r siopwr ynawr yn gallu adnabod a chefnogi cynnyrch lleol.
