There are featured farms for that all-important "real-life" flavour. There is also an excellent starter collection of Links , which are particularly welcome because they have a UK slant. The Internet Pilot Project , which aims to have 2,000 farmers online by the year 2,000, also provides an Internet Manual , which would be very helpful for those going online for the first time (althought the design could be spruced up a bit).

An excellent Oklahoma-based list of links for different livestock, grouped in categories such as breed information, breed associations, diseases, nutrition, online beef husbandry magazines, etc.

Agricultural Market Information Virtual Library

A detailed site that will give you access to most of the market information available on the Web, and that is probably a good deal more than you want to know about! The author, based at Michigan State University, gives short reviews of each site listed, and the site also contains a currency converter.

A very professional directory of over 11,000 agricultural Web sites - plenty of reading for those cold winter nights! The sites are hand-picked by agricultural experts, and there is a monthly Top 10 list. This is definitely one of the best agriculture addresses on the Web.
