I accept your point, and i use this area as a way of keeping in touch with people that i consider Friends and the issues that effect them. The internet is a COMMUNICATION tool and not a passive medium. The more people that contribute, the more varied the conversation will become. Being totally honest if the few people that post msgs here were to 'use email' as you suggest ...there would be nothing but a blank page here. If you have something to contribute then do so we wont bite and our vanity can take it !!!!
