Babs and Al Hook create highly individual pressed flower lampshades, lampbases and allied items using natural materials such as parchment paper, driftwood and handspun wool. Also hand-woven tapestries, watercolours and mirrors. |

FROM THE NORTH : at Dolgellau take A493. At Friog go 500 metres past Salt's Garage and turn left.
FROM THE SOUTH : on A493, past sign for Friog village turn first right. Studio is 200 metres on left. |

Most days (April to October). A phone call will avoid disappointment when making a special trip. Other times by arrangement. |

Studio workshop with makers at work when at home. Limited parking - best on verge on main road. Walk 200 metres to studio. Beautiful 'Blue Lake' nearby further down lane.
Commissions undertaken. Work also on view and for purchase at Studio and at major craft fairs. |
