Description
Fishing here for carp, tench, rudd or roach is a challenging and rewarding experience. The 1.5 acre natural springwater lake is well-stocked with common, mirror and ghost carp, with the biggest caught to date being 23 lbs. The lake is also sticked with tench, the largest caught to date being 7lb 2oz. the average carp caught is 8-15 lbs, with a few larger doubles. the lake was opened in 1983, with the island in the middle being the major feature.

Directions
Along the A5, turn left after Gwalchmai onto the A4080 to Rhosneigr. Turn sharp left before Llanfaelog Post Office. proceed a mile along the road. Entrance is 100m after the railway station on the left.

Season from 21 March to 30 October, open from dawn to dusk.
Day: £5.00.
Evening (from 4.00pm): £3.00.
